In July 2020, Mukesh Chhabra's Dil Bechara released and marked Sushant's last film ever. His last theatre release was Chhichhore, a light-hearted drama that released in September 2019. He then went on to act in films like Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!, Ms Dhoni: The Untold Story, Raabta, and Kedarnath. The actor then played a small role in Aamir Khan-starrer PK (2014).
